Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Emergency Patrol in Tanner, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor records, and reporting access‑control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters to the appropriate personnel when needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and property‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an EMT certification.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
