Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Route Driver in GRAND PRAIRIE, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain accurate entry and exit records, and report irregularities according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete required reports, logs, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
