Qualifications

• Background investigation and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide security procedures, enforce site policies, and assist with emergency response at a food/beverage site.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly, following site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Perform regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, warehouses, and parking areas to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points, verify visitors, and keep accurate logs and incident docs per policies.
• Report hazards or unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Route Driver in Frisco, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide professional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production or distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation in accordance with site policies.
• Communicate observed hazards, equipment concerns, or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
