Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Archbald, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, document observations, and provide professional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. All candidates must meet the following pre-employment requirements:

• Valid Driver's License:Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This requirement is essential for positions that involve driving as part of the job responsibilities.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of aerospace and defense business areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident reports.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, facility concerns, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
