Job summary

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Field Observation in GRAND PRAIRIE, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a professional, secure environment while demonstrating Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.01 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, building perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report irregular conditions.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive business information.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
