Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Tue 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sat 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sun 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, business perimeter, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident reports.
• Assist with protecting technology assets, proprietary information, and facility operations by reporting suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related hazards to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
