Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) in Moncks Corner, SC. You will provide customer service, monitor premises, and deter incidents at a logistics and distribution site.

This role involves night shifts Sunday through Thursday, operating from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and requires strong communication, reliable teamwork, and a professional presence on site. A HS diploma and background check are required.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and record activity.
• Report hazards and policy violations to site leadership and management.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and assist employees, visitors, and drivers with professional customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems to document observations and communicate clearly with the team. • Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate records of arrivals, departures, and unusual activity.
• Report hazards, damaged property, policy violations, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
