Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and report unauthorized entry attempts or access-control concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following site emergency procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
