As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Tablet Logging in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, building perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations, reporting unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through visible patrols, professional presence, and timely reporting of observed conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
