You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, office areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
