Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol) in San Jose, CA. You will monitor and patrol a logistics and distribution site, deter unauthorized activity, support access control, and assist with screening activities while providing professional customer service.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Screening in SAN JOSE, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist with screening activities. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet tools as needed. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and vehicle activity, verifying authorized entry and directing visitors, drivers, and vendors in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or responding personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
