Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.

• Background investigation and drug screen required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry, and report unusual conditions or access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and follow emergency procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately in required reports and logs.

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Operations in SAN JOSE, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm systems, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will assist employees, visitors, and customers with professionalism while documenting observations and responding to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $23.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.

• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual conditions or access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
