Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a full-time security professional to deliver reliable customer service while enforcing site policies at a logistics and distribution location. The role includes performing unarmed patrols, monitoring access points, and responding to incidents with calm, structured escalation.

You will work a shift pattern during late afternoon to evening hours, with a background check, a drug screen, and a valid driver’s license where required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel, and maintain required logs and reports.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, or policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
