Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a full-time security professional in Albuquerque to protect people and property at government facilities. You will perform access-control, respond to incidents, conduct patrols, and maintain logs and reports to ensure safety and compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, background check and drug screening, with driving license required for driving positions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify authorized access; and maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by providing directions, enforcing site rules in a professional manner, and helping to deter unauthorized access or disruptive behavior.

What You'll Do:

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
