Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a security professional for a full-time role in Pennsylvania. You will provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors while following security procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.

You will conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, observe and report suspicious activity, respond to incidents calmly, and maintain professional communication with staff and local responders as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Valid driver's license may be required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years old; 21+ for armed roles.
• License must be provided upon request during hiring.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License:
  • A current and valid license issued by the appropriate authority.
  • No significant driving violations that would disqualify the candidate from operating a vehicle for company purposes.
  • The ability to provide a copy of the driver's license upon request during the hiring process.

• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and other security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Maintain professional communication with store personnel, customers, and local responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
