Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Incident Response in Charlotte, NC. You will monitor client sites, conduct routine patrols, deter incidents and provide exceptional service to employees and visitors while maintaining a visible, professional presence.

The role requires compliance with site policies, timely incident reporting, and collaboration with leadership. Candidates should have security experience or a college degree, be 21+, and able to obtain a guard

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as a condition of employment.
• Criminal history considered in compliance with laws.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Incident Response in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of activity within assigned areas to help protect people, property, and sensitive financial operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
