Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer in Charlotte, NC. You will patrol, deter incidents, manage access, and respond to security concerns while delivering excellent customer service at a financial institution.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor management.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and escalate as needed.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain documentation related to incidents and patrols.

As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $29.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor management in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to incidents, patrols, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess at least 4 years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
