• Monitor entry points, verify authorized access, and maintain situational awareness of people and vehicles.

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Perimeter Assessment in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain awareness of individuals and vehicles entering or leaving the location.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrols, and unusual observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
