Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology facility.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and support a professional site environment.
• Monitor access activity and visitor entry procedures, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregularities to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately in required reports and communication logs.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Guest Relations in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $23.18 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Tue: 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Wed: 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
