Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Guest Assistance in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service to tenants and visitors. You will communicate clearly, document security-related activities using computer or tablet tools, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report unauthorized entry, property concerns, or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
