Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company in Los Angeles, is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Patrol. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and deliver excellent customer service for tenants and visitors at a commercial real estate site.

As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will respond to incidents, communicate clearly, and deliver exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at commercial real estate locations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Prepare clear, accurate daily activity reports and incident reports, communicating relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
