Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of interiors, common areas, parking areas, and entrances to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity per site procedures.
• Document incidents and patrol observations accurately and report to leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Parking Patrolin Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a premier commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and provide outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and unusual activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
