Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Digital Logkeeping in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic media and technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will use communication and customer service skills to address security-related concerns and document activities using computer or tablet tools. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and production personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, issue credentials as directed, and maintain accurate access-related logs for a media and entertainment location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout offices, studios, production areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Support security-related operations during productions, special events, and high-traffic periods by assisting with access management, visitor direction, and site policy compliance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
