Allied Universal in Los Angeles, CA is hiring a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Computer Operations. You will monitor and safeguard client sites across our commercial real estate portfolio, deter incidents, and provide courteous, professional service to tenants, visitors, and contractors while maintaining a visible, reassuring presence.

You will perform routine and random unarmed patrols, control access at entry points, document activities and incidents, and coordinate with property

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using computer or tablet.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Computer Operations in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while collaborating with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity and a caring, people-first culture.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding observed conditions, incidents, and service needs.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Hold CPR certification preferred.
• Possess customer service experience preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
