Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed Patrol) in Irving, TX to serve clients across tech/media/telecom sectors. You will patrol, maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service.

You will document observations with our technology, respond to incidents, and coordinate with site contacts and responders. Must be at least 18, have a high school diploma, and pass background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Care in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Use technology to document observations and respond professionally to security-related needs while collaborating with a caring, agile, reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology and communications facilities, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and direct individuals in accordance with site-specific access procedures.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, patrol findings, and operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
