Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Irving, TX. You will monitor assigned areas, deter incidents, and support access control while delivering excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

The role requires CPR certification or CPR/First Aid experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a background check plus drug screen as part of employment. Pay rate is $19.63 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity according to site procedures; report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site protocols and clearly communicate observations.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures; report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and communicating observations clearly.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
