As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Response in Allen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests and team members. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations using technology. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM
• Thur: 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM
• Fri: 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, exits, stock areas, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
