• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other events calmly and professionally.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and monitoring entry points.
• Document incidents and communicate information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver License Policy in Falls Church, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and tenants. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and monitoring of authorized entry points while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
