Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies and critical situations calmly and according to protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, directing individuals to appropriate areas and reporting unusual conditions.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol in Fairfax, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 06:0 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, directing individuals to appropriate areas and reporting unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
