Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, assist with access control and badge-related activities, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $23.18 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related observations and incidents.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and conditions that may require follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
