Qualifications

• 3+ years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by security procedures and emergencies.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and facility entry procedures per site requirements to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation; communicate to leadership.

Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Panel Operations in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to Allied Universal’s caring, reliable culture through teamwork, integrity, and exceptional customer service.

Pay Rate: $24.50 / Hour

• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and facility entry procedures in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter, reporting security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and unusual conditions.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
