Job summary

Allied Universal in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) to protect a financial institution. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service while reporting observations and maintaining daily logs.

The role requires 3+ years in security or related fields or a college degree, plus a high school diploma, with background and drug screening per law. A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and stakeholders while reporting observations and responding to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $24.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
