Job summary

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Client Services in Charlotte, NC. You will monitor and patrol the facility, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors and employees at a financial institution location.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail and the ability to respond to incidents calmly.

Qualifications

• Two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Two years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, parking areas, entry points, and the property perimeter, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
