Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Systems in Charlotte, NC. You will monitor financial institution locations, patrol interiors and exteriors, and support access control with a strong customer-service orientation.

Position is full-time with a pay rate of $23.00 per hour. You will follow site procedures, respond to incidents, and prepare reports while working as part of a team in Allied Universal’s culture of integrity and service.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Systems in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and support access control activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the financial institution location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with access control and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
