Allied Universal in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Emergency Care to protect a financial institution and its customers. You will perform routine armed patrols, monitor access points, respond to alarms, and maintain a visible security presence during day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by following procedures and responding to emergencies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATMs, entrances and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors.

• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in line with reporting requirements.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Emergency Care in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm systems, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATMs, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
