Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Alarm Panel Communications in Charlotte, NC. You will serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and respond to security concerns while maintaining clear communications with staff and visitors.

Position is full-time with day-night shifts; pay rate is $24.50 per hour. The role requires 3+ years security experience, licensing where required, and the ability to pass background checks and drug

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old; high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law and policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner per reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious conditions and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications per site requirements.

As a Security Officer Patrol Alarm Panel Communications in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and security-related systems, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns. What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
