Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Verification in Fort Mill, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to alarms or security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using technology to document activity. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and report unauthorized access or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related activities through accurate reports and required logs.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
