Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor location access, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain logs and reports.
• Report hazards, equipment issues, and suspicious activity to site contacts and supervision.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and support access control and badge procedures. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems to document security-related activity. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $11.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required logs and reports.
• Report observed hazards, equipment issues, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
