As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed in Ladson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon - 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue - 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed - 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur - 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, perimeter, and restricted-access areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access-control issues or unusual activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete accurate incident reports.
• Support compliance with site rules, conduct inspections of assigned areas, and communicate security-related concerns, hazards, or maintenance issues through established reporting channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
