Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a healthcare and life sciences location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, laboratories, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and support a secure environment.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor records, and assist with access-related requests in accordance with site policies.

What You'll Do:

• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately; communicate relevant information to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
