Job summary

Allied Universal in Penns Grove, NJ is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Emergency Response to protect students, staff and visitors in a school setting. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service in a school environment.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or families by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, student-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with school policies, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Support a positive learning environment by maintaining a professional presence and communicating respectfully with school staff, students, and visitors.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Emergency Response in Penns Grove, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
