Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a data center location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, parking areas, and critical infrastructure areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and restricted-area entry in accordance with site protocols; verify credentials and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
