• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documents, and patrol logs per site requirements.

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Monitoring in Alexandria, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe entry and exit activity in accordance with property policies; assist with visitor access and resident inquiries as assigned.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
