Pay Rate: $18.67 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or utility personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of utility facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned locations, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, damaged fencing, lighting issues, and/or other conditions that may affect facility operations to site contacts or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
