Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology and media location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify hazards or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, report unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and escalate when needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and shift communications.

Pay Rate: $23.11 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology and media location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
