Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol First Aid in Cherry Hill, NJ. You will monitor and patrol the facility, deter security incidents, support access control, and deliver quality customer service in a healthcare setting.

You will join a people-first team that values agility, reliability, and teamwork while following site-specific policies and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as required, and report unusual conditions or access issues to site leadership.
• Complete accurate reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives regarding incidents, observations, and shift activities.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.

• A guard card or license is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
