What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Assist with visitor access procedures, directions, and traffic flow while maintaining a professional presence in patient care and public areas.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
