As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol First Aid Preparedness in Fairfax, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitors, patients, and staff for unusual activity, reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with healthcare personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
