• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate with site contacts and leadership as needed.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Computer Log Stewardship in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and use computer or tablet tools to document observations. Pay Rate: $17.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Wed 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Thur 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail property, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas; observe activity; and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with site contacts, law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
