Allied Universal in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Security Officer for a Full Time Unarmed Driving role. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and report observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and documentation of incidents and daily activities in accordance with site requirements.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driving Role in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What you'll do:

Minimum requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
